Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) - Atlanta, GA 30333 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Bachelors Degree Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Public Health Position Objective: Support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Coronavirus and Other Respiratory Viruses Division’s (CORVD) data collection, management, quality, and reporting activities by developing, maintaining, and improving data systems, workflows, and analytic outputs used by CORVD teams. Duties and Responsibilities: Support data collection/management/quality processes for surveillance systems and studies. Develop, improve, and troubleshoot analytic datasets, pipelines, and reporting outputs. Produce reports, dashboards, and briefing materials as directed. Ensure data integrity through QA checks, documentation, and repeatable processes. Collaborate with CDC stakeholders to align work with data modernization activities. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 3- 10 years of demonstrated experience supporting data systems, analysis support, or informatics/system analysis work Bachelor's degree in data science or related field Ability to manage datasets, perform QA checks, and produce clear reporting outputs Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to work with CDC stakeholders Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust suitability and comply with CDC policies Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in data science or related field Experience with R and/or SAS; experience maintaining dashboards (Power BI) Experience with clinical data and/or surveillance platforms Experience facilitating rapid turnaround for complex, clearance-bound deliverables *This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required by this position.
