This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Analyst - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the athenaIDX practice management system across various environments. You'll engage as a Subject Matter Expert, translating business needs into system updates and ensuring adherence to payer contracts. Your contribution will involve routine tasks like troubleshooting errors, supporting third-party vendors, and analyzing current business processes, leading to impactful improvements in operational workflows. This position also offers opportunities for professional growth and the ability to drive meaningful changes within the organization. \n Accountabilities Support and maintain the company’s AthenaIDX contracting and credentialing system. Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in translating business needs to the AthenaIDX platform. Obtain and manage payer fee schedules from all payers as needed. Format and upload fee schedules into the Network’s Practice Management System. Translate payer contract reimbursement terms into the athenaIDX PCM environment. Troubleshoot system errors and resolve reported issues. Provide support to 3rd party Revenue Cycle vendors and applications. Document issues and solutions identified for system improvements. Participate in the day-to-day support and follow-up on operational inquiries. Validate and support system testing efforts as required. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Healthcare Administration preferred. 7+ years of experience in revenue cycle, patient accounting, and billing workflows. 5+ years as a systems analyst with patient billing and accounts receivable systems. Experience designing and implementing revenue cycle solutions using IT. Preferred experience in healthcare managed care contracting. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Highly collaborative and detail-oriented.
