JOB SUMMARY:
This position oversees and safeguards the organization’s cybersecurity posture, including implementation and management of multi-factor authentication (MFA), disaster recovery planning, password security protocols, and data redundancy strategies. The role is responsible for managing and maintaining both physical and virtual systems and servers, as well as handling email administration and coordinating responses to social engineering threats. In addition, this position directs mobile device management, including the deployment, imaging, and allocation of staff and student devices, ensuring secure and efficient operations across the organization’s technology environment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
This position plays a critical role in safeguarding, maintaining, and advancing the district’s technology infrastructure. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of systems, servers, and devices, while providing leadership in cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and process improvement initiatives. By combining technical expertise with strategic vision, this role supports operational continuity, optimizes resources, and drives innovation to meet the evolving needs of the district.
