Job Description Systems Analyst, SuccessFactors ECP (SAP Payroll) We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst – SAP Payroll (SuccessFactors ECP) to play a critical role in the design, delivery, and ongoing support of our SAP Payroll solution. This role partners closely with Payroll, HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure payroll services are reliable, compliant, and continuously improving. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position, offering hands‑on system ownership from day one, with potential for extension subject to business needs. Location: Brisbane or Melbourne Key Responsibilities As the Systems Analyst for SAP Payroll (ECP), you will: Own end‑to‑end functional delivery of SAP Payroll (ECP), including enhancements, upgrades, patches, and BAU support Act as liaison between Payroll, HR, IT, and vendors to translate business requirements into fit‑for‑purpose system solutions Lead system configuration, functional design, documentation, testing, and deployment activities Produce and maintain high‑quality functional and technical documentation Perform unit testing and system integration testing, and provide functional sign‑off for production releases Support change and release management across payroll initiatives Provide day‑to‑day application support via ServiceNow including incident and request management Support payroll processing cycles and troubleshoot payroll‑related issues as required Deliver user training and post‑deployment support to ensure smooth adoption of system changes Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, implementation partners, and third‑party vendors Qualifications Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will bring: Hands‑on experience with SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll (ECP), including end‑to‑end payroll processing Minimum 5+ years’ experience working with SAP EC and or ECP Strong experience authoring functional specifications, design documents, and test scripts Solid understanding of payroll financial postings and integrations Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills Background as a functional consultant or in‑house systems analyst (highly desirable) Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Desirable Experience Exposure to additional SuccessFactors modules (e.g. EC, Time & Attendance) Familiarity with SAP transport paths and release management processes SAP EC or ECP certification Additional Information WHAT'S ON OFFER: Discounts on retail and services Free snacks and drinks Located in the heart of Collins Street Wellness room Living Our Values recognition program Access to OceanaGold Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Exceptional working environment where people are valued and respected Eligibility to Work: To be considered for this role, you must have valid working rights in the country where the role is located.
