JOB TITLE: Systems Analyst/Sr. Programmer

REPORTS TO: Director of Colleague Computing Services
SCHEDULE: To be determined, Hybrid schedule
COMPENSATION: Full-time, Exempt (Salaried) - $90,000-$120,000
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the supervision of the Director of Colleague Computing Services, the Systems Analyst/Sr Programmer will be responsible for providing support and expertise to the user community in the utilization of Ellucian Colleague, the college’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and its integrated systems. The position requires translating business requirements into technical specifications, designing and coding processes, and creating reports.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or a combination of work experience and education
- Three (3) or more years of work-related experience.
- Experience developing and customizing programs using the Colleague Envision Toolkit/Colleague Studio is required
- Fluency in SQL is required
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in higher education environments
- Experience with Ellucian products: Self-Service, Colleague Web API, Ethos, and Insights preferred
- Knowledge of ASP.NET, JSON, or a similar web scripting language is preferred
- Experience developing web-based applications preferred
- Experience in an academic environment and knowledge of college student records, financial, human resources, and development processes preferred
- Experience in analyzing processes, determining optimal solutions, testing, and writing documentation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OR WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Schedule to be determined: A Hybrid schedule, depending on business needs, may require working onsite.
- Working hours may change according to departmental needs. Work hours may include after-hours, evenings, holidays, and weekend work
- While working remotely, you will be required to maintain the same hours of work as would be performed in the office; follow the department’s procedures in completing assigned job tasks; and be available during the employee’s working hours via the department-established communication methods (i.e. Google chat, Slack, phone, etc.)
