We are looking for a Systems Analyst/Analysts to join a motivated, forward-thinking, and established Care Systems Team who provide business advice and guidance as well as technical support of our current and future social care systems to adults and children’s services managers, their teams and partner agencies who deliver Social Care services to vulnerable people across Staffordshire.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities
The role involves collaborative work with customers and stakeholders to ensure the current social care system remains safe, stable and compliant while having an eye to preparing for the future social care system.
The broad scope of the role requires a results-focused approach, supported by well-developed analytical skills and technical ability. The collaborative nature of the work requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.

An idea of typical things you’ll be doing in this role include:

  • Oversight of the Helpdesk function and acting as an escalation point for any issues, including the co-ordination of any major incidents
  • Day to day workload supervision of a number of Care Systems Support Officers
  • Analysis of support calls in order to compile a bi-monthly report for the Care Systems Management Board, to summarise areas such as changes implemented, incidents encountered and any areas of concern for highlight
  • Ensure minimum staff cover is in place for areas of responsibility
  • Liaising with colleagues in ICT and Information Governance to maintain system security compliance such as working with partners to complete/renew Third Party Agreements
