EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Information Technology or Computer Programming diploma
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- ServiceDesk experience including both hardware and application support.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certification (or equivalent experience)
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate certification (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for M365 management and security automation
- Experience spinning up and managing Microsoft 365 tenants.
- Experience with Azure AD, hybrid identity management, and zero-trust principles
- Proficiency in implementing and managing Microsoft 365 security features and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Class G drivers’ licence

Responsibilities:
The Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in maintaining and supporting the operational stability of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This position manages, configures, and optimizes Windows-based systems and core Microsoft services within the organization’s technology ecosystem, ensuring reliable system availability and adherence to security best practices. Key areas of focus include daily management of on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, mobile device management, and effective collaboration across IT and user groups.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Engages with business users to evaluate business needs and requirements for system changes and/or operational improvements.
2. Administration of the corporate mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) system in Intune.
3. Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company SharePoint system.
4. Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft 365 services, including On-prem and Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business
5. User account management, licenses, and access controls and data life cycle.
6. Design, implement, and maintain cyber security configurations for M365 environments
7. Configure and maintain security features such as Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access policies, and Information Protection
8. Implement data governance, retention policies, and compliance features
9. Provide tier 2 and 3 support for complex M365-related issues
10. Upgrade, install, and configure application software and computer hardware
11. Troubleshoot and provide technical support to employees
12. Develop and maintain documentation for M365 processes, configurations, and security protocols
13. Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions for M365 data
14. Stay current with M365 updates, security threats, and new features, recommending and implementing improvements
15. Develop and plan technical components such as system architecture to support business needs.
16. Participate in quality assurance activities, including preparation and execution of test plans/cases.
17. Maintain documentation and prepare required release notes and user training materials.
