EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree and Fourteen (14) years of related work experience
  • Master’s degree and twelve (12) years of related work experience
  • PhD and nine (9) years of related work experience

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active TS with SCI eligibility
  • Experience working with full stack applications involving Python, Java, and/or ReactJS
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment
  • Experience generating technical documentation

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience designing scalable cloud architectures with containers and orchestration.
  • Proficient in creating and managing Helm charts for Kubernetes.
  • Skilled in deploying applications on OpenShift platforms.
  • Strong background in Docker-based containerization and CI/CD.
  • Expertise in developing and maintaining microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is seeking a Systems Architect to join the development team on the program. You will work on a critical knowledge sharing tool for the customer with real world applications. The tool that the team works on is high-visibility and enables collaboration across multiple partners as it is used in the day-to-day mission, throughout the customer and across the broader Intelligence Community (IC). Your work will enable data to be updated and shared in real-time and will help drive more informed and timely decisions in matters of national security.

A Systems Architect on this team:

  • Uses system-of-systems engineering tools and practices, such as systems engineering, to understand, model, analyze, architect, design, and manage complex missions as end-to-end mission threads across the entire mission enterprise.
  • Designs systems, applications, and data architectures with a focus on identifying ways to use AI techniques to support achieving better reliability, precision, accuracy, and speed to meet performance requirements.
  • Develops intelligent, and distributed, agent architectures for the management of autonomous, mobile, physical systems, etc.
  • Applies internal and external AI research results to designing systems. Defines and implements both traditional and emerging approaches to validate and verify methods to acquire data required for Probabilistic/Statistical means for solving problems connected to attaining the best possible algorithms; algorithm outcome requirements; and systems requirements definition.
  • Supports the development of cross functional or large-scale automated information systems to include enterprise architectures
  • Designs system architectures to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements and provides for present and future cross functional requirements and interfaces
  • Provides comprehensive definition of all aspects of system development from analysis of mission needs to verification of system performance
  • Performs evaluation of system alternatives and assessment of risks and costs
