We’re building a breakthrough AI platform and are looking for a Systems Architect — Memory & Graph Infrastructure to lead development of Chrysalis’ memory and graph substrate. You will work directly with the Founder and collaborate with our infrastructure lead to help design and implement the core system behind Chrysalis. Reports to: Founder & CEO, Chrysalis AE Responsibilities Architect and implement a next-generation memory substrate for adaptive AI. Design systems that can capture and represent complex relationships over time. Collaborate with infrastructure and orchestration leads on scaling and integration. Contribute to cutting-edge innovations in AI-native data architecture. Define schemas and interfaces for graph + memory storage. Contribute to patent filings and technical documentation for core IP. Establish standards and SDKs for external integrations. Guide architectural choices for distributed scaling and fault tolerance. Mentor future engineers as the technical team grows. Qualifications Must Have Deep expertise in knowledge graphs, graph databases, or semantic modeling. Strong background in vector databases and retrieval systems (RAG, embeddings). Experience with complex data structures and weighting/scoring models. Track record of designing and deploying distributed systems. Curiosity for first-principles design and comfort creating new approaches rather than relying on existing patterns. Strong Plus Graduate or research experience in AI/ML systems or cognitive architectures. Familiarity with patentable systems design or early-stage IP development. Experience in startups, R&D environments, or advanced infrastructure projects. Alignment with Chrysalis AE’s values of privacy-first, human-first, collaborative integrity.
