Description Systems Coordinator Department: Information Technology Location: Juneau Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Pay Grade(s): 10-11 Purpose: The incumbent will maintain, upgrade, and manage the Tribal D/TribeVue software system and provide support to users of the system. Incumbent will provide training and technical assistance as needed to staff and management. Essential Functions. An individual in this role must be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodation: • Setup/disable user accounts in Tribal D. • Provide employee training for users of Tribal D. • Reset passwords as necessary. • Establish approval structure and reassign roles. • Analyze and adjust issues with basic system workflow processes: search, insert, notes, file attachments, reports, and basic flows. • Assess issues with network connectivity. • Research log-in activity and provide reports as necessary. • Coordinate efforts with other IT staff as necessary. • Escalate product issues to Tribal D, Inc. Product Support, as necessary. • Coordinate new releases and patches among Tribal D, Inc. and Tlingit & Haida, as needed. • Update general ledger account codes, in coordination with Finance department. • Assist with IT help desk tickets when time allows. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities. A comprehensive set of capabilities required to perform job tasks effectively: • Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws and requirements. • Knowledge of program rules and requirements. • Ability to maintain accurate, complete, and confidential records. • Dependable and punctual. • Excellent project management and conflict resolution skills. • Positive attitude toward public and staff. • Able to perform and coordinate several projects at one time. • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to retain a high degree of confidentiality. • Familiarity with Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian cultures. Minimum Qualifications (education, experience, skills): • Associate degree in computer technology/programming or related field. • Two (2) years experience in the IT field. Preferred Qualifications (education, experience, skills): • Five (5) years previous experience in system administration. • Two (2) years previous experience in TribeVue administration. Physical Requirements. Work Environment. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job: • Some travel may be required on small aircraft or ferry. • Certain positions at Tlingit and Haida may have exposure to certain hazardous materials or conditions. The supervisor will review these if applicable.
