OVERVIEW

This position will be based on-site at our client’s facility, a major automaker, and will serve as a Systems Design & Architecture Engineer involved in system integration and development for DCM (Data Communication Module or Telematics Module). You will write DCM technical and evaluation specifications and lead any DCM technical discussions with both internal and external teams. You’ll be responsible for collaborating with team members while overseeing the end-to-end life of DCM product strategic planning, development, launch, and quality validation/metrics.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field; and/or commensurate work experience
• At least 3 years of professional experience in product management and/ or software engineering in the field of telematics or infotainment systems
• Understanding of product development best practices
• Expert on PowerPoint and strong presentation skills
• Excellent in cross-functional collaboration, project leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced teams with quick decision-making
• Possess strong technical and product management skills to drive suppliers
• Ability to work closely with design, software, firmware, testing, and manufacturing teams
• Passion for telematics and multimedia development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s or higher-level degree
• Strong understanding of automotive DCM (Telematics) related hardware and software architecture
• Experience in Infotainment hardware and/ or embedded software design
• Japanese fluency

  Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
