We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Developer to join our team in Sydney on an initial 12 month contract with the possibility to extend.
About the team and the work
This is a newly created role that will be responsible for the design and development of highly functional applications that enhance firm productivity and end user experiences. You will work in a collaborative and down to earth team that embrace flexibility and work/life balance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Liaising with business analysts and stakeholders to understand technical requirements and project aims.
• Participating in project planning and design sessions to architect key line of business

applications.

• Designing and developing functionality within an established technical framework that

reflects agreed visual designs.

• Ensuring that systems are developed within agreed budgets and timeframes with a

high level of quality.

• Debugging, troubleshooting, and maintaining code and associated documentation.
• Ensuring software is developed in line with the firm’s security standards.

About you

• Prior experience as a Systems Developer.
• Team player that is familiar with working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficient in front end development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries such as React or Angular.
• Strong understanding of database development and SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using low-code development tools such as Retool, K2/Nintex is highly desirable.
