Description Captivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who shall be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders to gather, document, and track product requirements for developing mission solutions in an HPC operating environment. The Systems Engineer shall serve as the project’s Scrum Master. Requirements Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen Minimum Qualifications: Seven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Required Skills: Experience using the Linux CLI Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience collaborating with mission customers to gather product requirements, document/report project status, roadblocks, risks, and challenges Experience tracking and managing product requirements to ensure requirements align with project goals Experience with creating and maintaining detailed documentation for system architecture, configurations, project status, and project schedules Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences Experience as a Scrum Master in facilitating Scrum teams to ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices Experience with CI/CD concepts, principles, and best practices using tools such as GitLab CI Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) Desired Skills: Experience with Git Version Control System Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes This position is open for direct hires only.
