Capgemini Engineering is seeking two Systems Engineers to join an exciting new initiative with our partner in commercial aerospace and aviation. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture (functional and logical), requirements engineering, interface definition, and verification & validation.
  • Experience applying and teaching systems engineering processes (e.g., ISO15288), including mentoring junior engineers.
  • Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including tools such as Cameo, Catia, and modeling languages/frameworks like SysML.
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS, DOORS NG).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., INCOSE SEP, OMG MBSE certifications, IREB) are a plus.
  • Experience with commercial aircraft design, FAR Part 25, and ARP-4761 is advantageous but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead Systems Engineering activities across product development, upgrades, and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality artifacts such as requirements specifications, systems architecture models (MBSE), interface documentation, and other relevant materials.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert in Systems Engineering and/or MBSE.
  • Support clients in their digital transformation journey by implementing Systems Engineering best practices, sharing lessons learned, and providing coaching and training to fellow engineers.
  • Evaluate and support the advancement of Systems Engineering maturity within client organizations.
