What you will do as a Systems Engineer

• You take care of the verification and validation process so that the customer receives the solution requested.
• You play an essential role in understanding the project scope during the tendering phase, analyzing challenges and finding solutions in collaboration with various disciplines.
• After securing a project, you coordinate structured working methods, work with project control, design, work preparation, site management, and execution teams, and apply systems thinking.
• You identify process improvements and implement them through close collaboration.
• You translate technical information into understandable language to ensure effective communication between teams.
• You can approach situations abstractly but translate them correctly into practical solutions for executing projects.
• This is how you put the systems engineering process on the map, literally and figuratively, both within and outside the organization. After all, you are involved in projects throughout the country. Whether it concerns the construction of the Markerwadden Bird Paradise, the N206 Ir. G. Tjalmaweg west of Leiden, the Public Transport Terminal (OVT) at the Zuidas, or the Meandering Maas: you help build a new horizon.

What you bring

• A higher professional or university degree in Civil Engineering or Technical Management, optionally supplemented by a Master's degree in Systems Engineering.
• You have an eye for new opportunities and initiate and facilitate collaborations.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Worked with Relatics, PowerBI, GIS, and SharePoint & Knowledge of the SE Guidelines during studies, internship, or position
• You are analytically strong and also process-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at every level and within all teams.
