Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Intelligence community. This position is eligible to sit out of the following locations: Annapolis Junction, MD, Fairfax, VA., El Segundo, CA. Tukwila, WA. This role requires TS/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER INCLUDE:

• 9 years of experience in lab/test environments and classified network operations.
• Skilled in OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting across diverse platforms.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as RMF and JSIG, and experience in secure system integration.
• Extensive experience with enterprise operating systems, virtualization platforms (VMware) and directory services (Active Directory).
• Hands-on expertise with IT hardware, networking gear, and high-performance computing systems.
• Security+ certified or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

• Design and implement secure systems following engineering best practices.
• Deliver full-spectrum IT support in secure lab environments, from endpoints to servers.
• Oversee system access, patching, and release planning for hardware and software.
• Administer and maintain systems, including virtualized environments; automate tasks with scripting.
• Ensure compliance with RMF/JSIG standards while supporting classified networks and infrastructure.
