Your mission:

We are looking for you as a Systems Engineer (m/f/d) at the Kiel location (hybrid) .

Your tasks will include:

• In this role, you will assume technical project responsibility for the development of customer-specific COMINT systems.
• You analyze and understand the operational customer requirements, adapt existing system concepts, and manage their integration into the target system.
• You make well-informed make-or-buy decisions, taking into account technical, economic, and strategic aspects.
• You are responsible for the technical implementation of the project for internal and external clients.
• You coordinate suppliers as well as the areas of development, design, manufacturing, integration and assembly.
• Your tasks include creating system documentation, reports and protocols, as well as communicating with customers and the sales and field sales organizations involved.
• You plan and conduct internal and external customer acceptance tests and accompany the commissioning process until successful final acceptance.

Your profile:

You should definitely possess the following knowledge and skills:

• You have a completed technical degree with a focus on communications engineering, telecommunications engineering, high-frequency engineering or a comparable field.
• You bring extensive experience in the field of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Ideally, you have in-depth knowledge of modern communication signals, preferably in the field of radio detection and radio reconnaissance systems, as well as modern IT infrastructures.
• Ideally, you also have a certification as a Systems Engineer according to ISO/IEC 15288.
• You think functionally, quickly recognize connections, and consider complex systems holistically.
• Quality is a given for you, and you confidently represent high quality standards to internal and external stakeholders.
• You are able to make sound decisions and take responsibility even in dynamic and changing situations.
• You are willing to travel regularly worldwide and approach different cultures with openness and professionalism.
• For effective communication in the project environment and with our German-speaking customers, very good spoken and written German is required.
