Summary
We are looking for a “Systems Engineer / Development Project Manager (DPM) (f/m/d)” for the “GBAD Solutions Engineering” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The “GBAD Solutions Engineering” department develops radar products as well as sensor system solutions. The product portfolio includes Naval and Ground products as well as European studies from the European Defense Fund EDF. In addition, we support the program in managing projects, preparing offers and holding customer meetings.

Your Tasks

  • Responsibility of the development work packages in time, cost and quality
  • Coordination of multidisciplinary development teams
  • Responsibility and implementation of the development process
  • Close cooperation with the programme area and the technical disciplines
  • Definition of technical system requirements, system architecture, interface documents, system analyses and system safety
  • Definition of requirements performance data for the subsystems and creation of specifications for the subsystems
  • Supporting the coordination of all system development activities related to system safety
  • Supporting acquisition through effort estimates and the preparation of proposals

Your Profile

  • Degree in engineering, electrical engineering, IT, aerospace or similar
  • Several years of professional experience in this field, ideally also experience in the area of system safety
  • Experience in the development of radar systems
  • Experience in the technical management of teams
  • Experience with safety standards, e.g. MIL-STD-882, BAAINBw manual for verification of system safety
  • Experience in functional hazard analysis (FHA)
  • Knowledge of DOORS, MATLAB, MBSE, Jira, Confluenc
  • Basic knowledge of EU product conformity
  • Ability to work in a team, assertiveness and resilience as well as a confident demeanor
  • Business fluent German and very good English skills
