Our Company is working closely with a Prestigious Public Listed organisation in Singapore. Due to our dynamic expansion in projects, we are looking for Systems Engineers to be part of the project team, who is able to maintain, upgrade and manage server system hardware and networks and in-house development environment software applications.
Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. The candidate should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. He/she should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.
Candidate must be able to perform routine rotation standby technical support to customer call and travel to customer site during silent hour (after working hours) to resolve operation issue.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a System Engineer/Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
• Experience and knowledge in VMware and SAN
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems), OS hardening and data backup/recovery
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (MS Windows and Red Hat preferred)
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
• Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline

• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
