Summary
For the “Spectrum Dominance Products Engineering” department, we are looking for a “System Engineer Electronic Warfare with additional function of Sample Test Engineer (f/m/d)” at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The Spectrum Dominance Products Engineering department is responsible for the product development and verification of active and passive EW systems and system elements.

Your Tasks

  • Analysis and definition of requirements at system / subsystem level
  • Creation of architectures and technical concepts for systems / subsystems
  • Definition of interfaces to other systems and subsystems
  • Modeling of system behavior
  • Execution of laboratory, field and acceptance tests
  • Independent review and signing of all certification relevant documents
  • Ensuring the design of systems and equipment according to design / certification specifications
  • Support of test, inspection and verification programs and in the preparation of (P-)DDPs
  • Support of the Airworthiness Certification Engineer (ACE) in all certification relevant activities

Your Profile

  • Degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, mathematics, physics or comparable
  • Many years of practical experience in systems engineering in the field of complex development projects, ideally in the area of electronic warfare
  • Extensive experience in the field of military and civil aviation certification as a type test engineer
  • Practical experience in the field of electronic warfare, radar or communication advantageous
  • Sound specialist knowledge of standards and regulations in connection with civil and military aviation approvals
  • Assertiveness and willingness to take on responsibility, ability to work in a team and motivation
  • Fluent in German and English
