Our technology supports a wide range of clients - from agile start-ups to major global energy enterprises, helping them navigate a fast-evolving industry shaped by climate goals, renewable energy integration, and market volatility.  Role Purpose The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting and continually improving Energy One’s cloud and on-premises infrastructure that underpins internal systems, client environments and trading operations. The role will contribute to the delivery of infrastructure projects, platform reliability, automation, security and operational excellence, and will suit a candidate who can take ownership across a broad range of technologies to help deliver resilient, scalable outcomes across a global environment. * Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Entra ID, Teams, Intune) * Experience working with AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.) - 2+ years preferred * Experience in systems or infrastructure engineering (servers, virtualisation, EUC) * Experience with Windows and/or Linux administration * Strong troubleshooting and networking knowledge * Experience managing or supporting technical environments Skills and Attributes * Highly analytical with strong attention to detail * Effective written and verbal communication skills * Proactive and solutions-focused approach * Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn * Interest in emerging technologies, including AI * Design, implement and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure solutions that support internal services, client platforms and critical trading operations. * Provide technical support and engineering expertise for infrastructure supporting Energy One teams, client environments and trading operations. * Build, optimise and support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities. * Investigate technical issues, perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable improvements. * Develop and maintain automation, scripting and infrastructure-as-code solutions where applicable. * Work with management and cross-functional teams to provide technical direction and support the future success of the company. * Flexible hybrid work environment  * Modern office environment * Work with diverse and inclusive teams * Energy One promotes career growth and professional development * Be part of a growing global business with exciting prospects * Paid Parental Leave * Access to Beny, giving you a wide variety of discounts * You Day - an additional day's leave each year Energy One promotes diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity.  If you are ready to embrace this exciting challenge, send us your CV today and a tailored cover letter, which includes a reference to Energy One.
