WHO WE ARE

The Systems Engineer will support the development, enhancement, and integration of Joint Training Tool (JTT) white cell control capabilities, specifically focused on Non-Kinetic Effects (NKE) systems. This position involves designing and implementing systems for the control, monitoring, display, and planning of NKEs within a simulated training environment. The engineer will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with JLVC standards and integration with data dashboards. This position will support the Joint Training Synthetic Environment (JTSE) Joint Staff J7(JS J-7) contract at our Suffolk, VA Joint Staff Complex.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior work on Department of Defense (DoD) training or operational support systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both in a team and individually
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Enhance JTT white cell control capabilities.
  • Develop and manage tools for control, monitoring, display, and planning of Non-Kinetic Effects (NKEs).

  • Ensure system alignment with evolving JLVC standards (draft and final).
