As a systems engineer working on software as a medical device, you'll be at the intersection of innovation and regulation, collaborating with regulatory, clinical, marketing, and engineering teams to push the boundaries of what's possible in healthcare technology. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 7+ years of relevant industry experience OR equivalent combination of education and professional experience Technical fluency with software architecture and development processes, and the ability to engage meaningfully in technical discussions with engineering teams Excellent English proficiency (oral and written) Cross-functional leadership experience with demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and coordinate across diverse stakeholder groups Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts for varied audiences (engineers to executives) Systems thinking with ability to balance strategic vision with attention to critical details Medical device development experience, particularly Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) or other regulated software products Knowledge of domestic medical device regulatory requirements (China GMP) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Swift and/or Objective C development in Xcode Experience with Python or shell scripting for tool development Quality management systems knowledge such as ISO 13485 or IEC 62304 Strong technical writing and documentation skills, preferably including experience with regulatory submissions or quality system documentation Project/program management experience in complex, multi-disciplinary technical environments
