We have an opportunity for a Systems Engineer I to join our team at Honeywell in Brno! In this role, you’ll be responsible for technical planning, system integration, and ensuring robust and reliable systems throughout all stages of product development. You’ll transform customer requirements into effective solutions, balancing technical, schedule, and cost considerations.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.
Since the invention of autopilot in 1914, we’ve been a leader in innovation for the Air Travel industry. Today, thousands of Honeywell products are used in aircraft and airports around the world. Everyday 140,000 Honeywell air turbine starters bring to life commercial and military aircraft, industrial and marine equipment.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong engineering background in Aerospace, Software Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science.
  • Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink
  • Solid analytical skills with knowledge of inertial/satellite navigation systems
  • Good understanding of system/software development processes and design/test automation.
Responsibilities
  • Engage in technical planning, system integration, and verification to ensure robust and reliable systems.
  • Analyze all stages of system products, from concept and design to testing and maintenance.
  • Transform customer requirements into effective system solutions, balancing technical, schedule, and cost considerations.
  • Conduct functional and timeline analyses, trade studies, and requirements allocation to develop precise hardware and software specifications.
  • Collaborate with project teams during the product development phase including process customization, training, and user support.
