Raytheon’s System Integration & Test is seeking a Systems Engineer II who will support X-Band Radar technology that includes collaborating on requirements verification at our Woburn, MA location. This includes supporting the Systems Verification tasks and scope planning to create milestones and schedules and managing competing priorities. Typical daily activities executed by the teams include scenario development, testing, analysis, support to software development and systems engineering teams, and customer presentations. The individual will contribute to growing the team’s abilities and be able to work with both internal and external customers.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and/or Unix.
  • Experience with System Integration, test, and/or Verification.
  • Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US Citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

  • Ability to compile, summarize, and present data analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including program leadership and external customers and collaborating across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve issues.
  • Knowledge of installing and configuring hardware, software installations on hardware devices, network configurations, and operations of software on a radar system.
  • Radar site work and requirements, specifically coordinating and interfacing updates at a functional radar site.
  • Knowledge of radar systems, auxiliary systems, and system operational requirements.
  • Involvement with X-Band Radar analysis tools, hands-on root cause identification, corrective action implementation and verification, and working with customers to plan and execute program test activities.
