Qualifications VNE, LLC is looking for a Secret Cleared Systems Engineer III Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Experience: Seven (7) years of IT professional experience overseeing the creation of hybrid software, web and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. Individual shall have experience integrating various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices through system specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance support. Individual shall consider overall project design including cost, schedule, and social issues that may be associated with a project. Five (5) years of technical experience in support of ISR/IO. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Experience with full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Proficient with utilizing DevOps tools for build, test, patch automation, and CM (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, BMC, or Similar). Experience in creating and maintaining documentation, including knowledge base articles, procedure manuals, and technical guides. Secret level Clearance required. These products are often sophisticated systems that run on the web. The systems engineer is responsible to integrate various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices. Duties of a systems engineer typically include managing the development cycle associated with producing a resilient software, hardware and web application, including specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance. Systems engineering is like putting together a puzzle, matching varied pieces together to make one cohesive whole. Systems engineers are concerned with the "big picture" of a project in addition to technical aspects and must consider details like cost, schedules and social issues that may be associated with a project. Essential Duties of the Job: Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner. Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups. Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
