Summary
We are looking for a “Systems Engineer in the field of Mechatronic Land Systems (f/m/d)” for the “Mechatronic Land Systems” department at the Aalen / Oberkochen site as soon as possible.
In the field of “Mechatronic Land Systems”, an interdisciplinary development team develops reconnaissance and observation systems for vehicles and stationary applications in the civil and military sector. Starting with the customer’s requirements, a system concept is drawn up and compared with the sensors and products already available at HENSOLDT Optronics. The development tasks include electronics, mechanics and, if necessary, optical components. The system engineer also supports the qualification and integration of the products at the customer’s premises.

Your Tasks

  • Creating the system architecture of complex optronic and mechatronic products
  • Technical coordination of product development within the interdisciplinary project team
  • Requirement management to define the scope of development
  • Definition and support of qualifying tests
  • Creation of quantity structures and collaboration on quotations
  • Coordination and support of external development work
  • Evaluation and optimization of offers with regard to performance and costs

Your Profile

  • Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, physics, computer science or similar
  • Several years of experience in the development of complex technical devices
  • Experience in systems engineering and requirement management advantageous
  • Experience in dealing with national and international customers and development partners desirable
  • Knowledge of relevant tools such as Doors and Enterprise Architect
  • Convincing appearance and very good presentation skills
  • Willingness to take responsibility, ability to work in a team and motivation
  • Fluent German and very good English skills
