Position Title: Systems Engineer Location: San Diego, CA Clearance: Secret Position Summary ISPA Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the planning, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of complex information technology systems. The Systems Engineer serves as a technical leader responsible for ensuring hardware, software, network, and web-based components function as an integrated solution that meets customer and organizational requirements. This position requires a systems-thinking approach, balancing technical performance, cost, schedule, security, maintainability, and operational requirements throughout the system lifecycle. The Systems Engineer collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop reliable, scalable, and secure solutions supporting commercial, government, and defense-related programs.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Analyze customer and stakeholder requirements and translate them into system-level solutions. * Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain hardware, software, network, and web-based systems. * Support the full system development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment. * Develop system architectures, interface requirements, technical specifications, and engineering documentation. * Integrate operating systems, application software, databases, cloud services, networking components, and hardware devices into cohesive solutions. * Conduct system performance analysis, troubleshooting, risk assessments, and root-cause investigations. * Support configuration management, cybersecurity compliance, quality assurance, and system accreditation activities. * Develop and execute test plans, validation procedures, and verification activities to ensure system functionality and reliability. * Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to system performance, security, and operational efficiency. * Coordinate with software developers, network engineers, cybersecurity professionals, project managers, and customers to ensure successful project execution. * Monitor system performance and support maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities. * Prepare technical reports, engineering analyses, project documentation, and status updates. * Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and engineering oversight appropriate to assigned level.
