About this job

We are seeking a Land-Based Systems Engineer (m/f/d) for a direct placement with an international technology company in Ulm. You will develop and integrate complex land-based systems, overseeing their development from requirements analysis to technical acceptance. As a Land-Based Systems Engineer (m/f/d), you will combine system architecture, integration, and verification within a safety-critical technology environment. This position is available through direct placement/recruitment.

Systems Engineer Land-Based Systems (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Analysis and translation of operational customer requirements into technical system requirements
  • Development and further development of system architectures with a focus on interoperability, resilience and IT security.
  • Integration of hardware and software components into robust overall systems
  • Planning and execution of system tests as well as verification and validation
  • Support during commissioning, technical acceptance testing and fault analysis at the customer's site.

Your qualifications:

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering or a comparable field
  • Professional experience in systems engineering, ideally in the field of land-based systems
  • Solid knowledge of system architecture, system integration and communication systems
  • Experience with systems engineering methods such as the V-model or ideally MBSE, as well as tools like DOORS
  • Analytical and structured work style, willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time, and willingness to undergo a security clearance (SÜ2).
