Description

These are your tasks:

  • As a systems engineer (m/f/d) you will develop - with an interdisciplinary team of internal and external specialists - the system design of modern ground-based air defense systems and their subsystems.
  • In this role, you will accompany the entire development phase of a complex system using the methods of systems engineering, from definition to verification, and will be the contact person for specifications and system architecture at your system level.
  • Your responsibilities include creating related specifications and architectures, as well as supporting systems or system elements from initial concept to final acceptance. During the various development phases, you will be particularly responsible for maintaining the requirements and the associated documentation for the system under development.
  • You are the driving force in the team when it comes to solving interdisciplinary problems. Your broad expertise enables you to moderate the dialogue between the contributing disciplines and to develop and weigh suitable solutions.
  • Furthermore, you will provide support in customer communication and in the technical support of subcontractors, also at an international level. You will ensure the quality of your work through the use of modern, model-based methods and tools.

You bring the following with you:

  • The prerequisite for this position is a successfully completed degree in an engineering discipline, e.g., Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering.
  • They already have relevant experience in requirements management or system modeling in the development of large military equipment, ground-based air defense systems, or in special machine construction for aerospace.
  • Furthermore, systematic development using systems engineering methods is second nature to you. You are passionate about complex technical systems and possess the ability to abstract functionally and think in complex contexts. You are open to taking on new challenges and developing high-performance products.
  • Ideally, you already have experience using tools for requirements engineering (e.g., DOORS NG) or model-based systems engineering (MBSE) (e.g., CAMEO Systems Modeler or Enterprise Architect).
  • Finally, you have good German and English skills, both spoken and written, and are prepared to use them in an international environment.
