Systems Engineer (m/f/d) Defense and Security Systems

For our client, a leading technology company in the field of mechatronic system solutions for the defense industry, we are seeking a Systems Engineer (m/f/d) for Defense and Security Systems at their Wedel location. Our client develops state-of-the-art energy management systems, drive solutions, and stabilization technologies that are used worldwide in military vehicles, radar systems, and aircraft.

THESE ARE YOUR TASKS

As a systems engineer (m/f/d) for defense and security systems, you will analyze customer requirements and specifications and translate them into technical system specifications and system concepts.
At the Wedel site, you will define, coordinate and monitor technical interfaces between individual components, subsystems and suppliers, and ensure integration into the overall system.
Furthermore, you will develop and evaluate system architectures, analyze technical solutions, and support their implementation, taking into account functional, technical, and economic requirements.
As a systems engineer (m/f/d) for defense and security systems, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and further development of testing and trial environments, support commissioning and the verification process for the validation of defense technology systems.
In addition, you will create development and system documentation, coordinate prototype and test setups, and support technical quotation and project planning processes at the Wedel site.

Responsibilities

THIS WILL GIVE YOU SCORE

For the position of Systems Engineer (m/f/d) Defense and Security Systems, you have a completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical field.
Ideally, they bring experience in the development, design and integration of technical systems and have an understanding of cross-system interrelationships.
Proficient use of MS Office, MS Project and SAP is just as much a part of your profile for the Wedel location as knowledge of requirements management and the processing of technical specifications.
Analytical thinking skills, a strategic view of technical contexts, and target group-oriented communication are among your strengths and support you in collaborating with various interfaces.
