Your position in our crew

  • As a systems engineer (m/f/d) in our design department, you will create the system definitions for operational systems on naval vessels.
  • Your tasks include the preparation and review of construction specification components for Combat Management Systems.
  • You will coordinate functional interfaces between the Combat Management System and "external" systems in consultation with our various specialist departments and suppliers. Furthermore, you will responsibly manage subcontractor services to ensure smooth operations.
  • You maintain all data and documents for the Combat Management System in the ERP and CAD systems, ensuring they are always up-to-date and traceable. At the same time, it is your responsibility to prepare audit documentation on time to demonstrate compliance with the specified services and requirements.
  • They provide technical support to the project-responsible colleagues in the field of communication systems vis-à-vis clients, classification societies or authorities.
  • During the test phases, you will be part of the test team and will accompany or conduct all relevant test stages (FAT, HAT, SAT) of the Combat Management System.

This is what you'll have in your luggage

  • Completed studies in the field of systems engineering, naval architecture, communications engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable discipline
  • Teamwork and communication skills, especially for coordinating with internal and external partners: experience in dealing with public sector clients is particularly welcome.
  • Experience in systems engineering or in the integration of complex technical systems – ideally in the maritime, defense or safety-critical environment
  • Security clearance according to Ü2 or the willingness to undergo it
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
