Responsibility for the analysis, definition, derivation and maintenance of system and subsystem requirements, as well as ensuring their completeness, consistency and verifiability, taking into account cost and effort aspects.
Coordination of system architectures and technical interfaces, as well as evaluation and further development of design concepts with regard to requirements, risks, costs, deadlines and reuse of existing solutions.
Management and support of development and design activities, including technical analyses to ensure compliance with specified system requirements.
Support and execution of system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR), verification planning, and creation and monitoring of technical budgets at the system level.
Creation of test specifications as well as support in the definition, execution and evaluation of verification and testing activities to demonstrate system requirements
Participation in the preparation and execution of launch, LEOP and in-orbit (IOT) test phases, as well as support in change management, deviation handling and the implementation of approved design changes.

Your qualifications
Successfully completed studies (Master's, Diploma or Doctorate) in physics, mathematics, engineering or a comparable field
Solid experience in the conception, development and system design of spacecraft, space equipment and their subsystems
Proven expertise in at least one systems engineering discipline, such as mission analysis, spacecraft operations, system design, system analysis, interface engineering, requirements engineering & management, verification & validation, or engineering coordination.
Strong analytical skills, technical judgment, and a solution- and cost-oriented mindset with a holistic understanding of systems.
Strong teamwork and cooperation skills, flexibility in dealing with technical challenges, and the ability to work successfully in interdisciplinary project teams.
Experience in the technical leadership and coordination of teams, combined with innovative ability, decisiveness, integrity and a professional demeanor
