Responsibilities

We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, integrating, and optimizing complex systems within our R&D function. This role requires a strong technical background in systems engineering principles, with a focus on ensuring the seamless integration of hardware and software components. The successful candidate will be a key contributor throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept definition to deployment and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:

System Design and Architecture:

  • Develop and maintain system models, diagrams, and documentation to clearly articulate system behavior and interactions.
  • Perform trade-off analyses and make informed decisions on system architecture and component selection to optimize performance, cost, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with other hardware and software engineers to ensure cohesive system design and seamless integration of all components.
  • Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, and other technical assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

System Integration & Verification:

  • Plan and execute system integration activities, including defining integration strategies, test plans, and procedures, particularly with electronics products.
  • Oversee the assembly, configuration, and testing of complex systems to ensure functionality and performance meet specifications.
  • Identify and troubleshoot system-level issues, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve them efficiently.
