Responsibilities
  • Keep print publishing systems stable with proactive patch management and upgrades in a Windows Server environment.
  • Configure integrations between systems handling content, ads, layouts, and production processes, escalating issues to specialists as needed.
  • Monitor and optimise performance using logs and metrics for seamless print workflows.
  • Maintain secure, compliant print operations with strong cybersecurity standards.
  • Troubleshoot and fix system issues using Windows Server tools, network diagnostics, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Manage service desk incidents within SLAs, log detailed resolutions, provide Tier 2/3 support, and join the on-call rotation via task tracking tools.
  • Roll out system changes per NZME’s framework, testing and documenting updates in sprint-based workflows.
  • Boost integrations with PowerShell, Python, and SQL queries for efficient print workflows.
  • Support cloud migration efforts under guidance, streamlining processes with collaborative development practices.
  • Explore cloud technologies to enhance system resilience and scalability, contributing to agile innovation.
  • Team up with Technology and Print crews in meetings to align on content, ads, layouts, and production.
  • Share your print system know-how to lift team skills within agile knowledge-sharing practices.
  • Update documentation with detailed notes post-changes, keeping knowledge bases current via shared tools.
  • Communicate system status and solutions clearly to stakeholders, pinpointing support resources as needed.
