Systems Engineer Operations for the multi mission control centre (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Definition and analysis of ground segment requirements, and adaptations to new missions
- Definition of satellite operations concepts for multi missions
- Contributions to proposals for mission operations
- Contribute to design, planning and execution of test campaigns with the ground and space segments
- Preparation and validation of operational products within the mission centre
- Participation (possibly design thereof) to rehearsal and flight operations
- Supporting actual flight operations for critical and routine phases
- Supporting several missions for satellite operations
Your Qualifications
- Engineering, Physics or an equivalent degree
- Professional experience in the space sector, experience in spacecraft operations engineering is an asset
- Experience in defining, developing and validating of satellite ground segment is an advantage
- Experience in flight dynamics, tools for satellite control (SCOS, EGS-CC, CCS5, etc.) is an advantage
- Experience in script programming (Tope, Python), Matlab or STK is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
- Self-managed and proactive working style
- Willingness to support several missions on a flexible basis
- Willingness to gain expertise outside of satellite domain
