Systems Engineer Operations for the multi mission control centre (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Definition and analysis of ground segment requirements, and adaptations to new missions
• Definition of satellite operations concepts for multi missions
• Contributions to proposals for mission operations
• Contribute to design, planning and execution of test campaigns with the ground and space segments
• Preparation and validation of operational products within the mission centre
• Participation (possibly design thereof) to rehearsal and flight operations
• Supporting actual flight operations for critical and routine phases
• Supporting several missions for satellite operations

Your Qualifications

• Engineering, Physics or an equivalent degree
• Professional experience in the space sector, experience in spacecraft operations engineering is an asset
• Experience in defining, developing and validating of satellite ground segment is an advantage
• Experience in flight dynamics, tools for satellite control (SCOS, EGS-CC, CCS5, etc.) is an advantage
• Experience in script programming (Tope, Python), Matlab or STK is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
• Self-managed and proactive working style
• Willingness to support several missions on a flexible basis
• Willingness to gain expertise outside of satellite domain
