Description
SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Army’s Network Design Facility (ANDF) in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate will work in an agile environment using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools and automated testing processes to develop and validate requirements for the Common Application Suite for LINK 16 (CASL). CASL supports interoperability across tactical C2 systems used in joint and multinational operations. Primary Responsibilities Validate existing system requirements documentation for host platforms. Develop system requirements for emerging host platforms using tactical datalinks. Support the development and implementation of automated testing for CASL software. Develop test procedures and analysis cases based on requirements analysis. Coordinate requirements traceability efforts and create training materials for CASL briefings. Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field with at least two (2) years of experience. An additional six (6) years of experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree (per contract vehicle). Clearance Requirements: Must possess an active Secret security clearance or have the ability to obtain one; US Citizenship required. Required Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to organize data electronically and present technical information to internal and external stakeholders. Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to generate technical documentation and reports. Experience writing and developing requirements. Desired Skills Working knowledge of HELIX ALM, JIRA, or similar tools. Experience with Squish or other regression testing tools. Familiarity with Army and NATO tactical Data Link standards. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project. Familiar with Link 16
Responsibilities
