Cradle to grave ownership of new products. Lead team to deliver technical proposal (design concept, compliance matrix, cost estimate and timeline. Support the hardware and software design groups, as well as the verification and validation stream, in the interpretation of requirements for implementation and testability Compose system requirements and decompose to lower levels for aerospace technologies such as high-speed digital busses, small form-factor power supplies, air data computing devices using CPUs, microcontrollers, DSPs, etc. Direct interaction with customers and international travel Mentor and elevate the team, sharing expertise and modeling curiosity, accountability and respect Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Aerospace new product development Experience with MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, DO-178B with verification and validation activities Experience with electronic hardware and firmware design What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years' experience in Aerospace new product development.
