Your mission Responsible for the design, operation, and continuous improvement of international server and infrastructure platforms (on‑prem & hybrid) including: Server & Infrastructure: Operate Windows Server and Linux environments, manage lifecycle, patching, hardening, and performance Virtualization & Platforms: Operate VMWare & Proxmox, ensure availability, performance, and capacity Linux & Kubernetes: Operate and support Linux systems, contribute to Kubernetes-based platforms Databases (Infrastructure Perspective): Support MS SQL / PostgreSQL environments, ensure availability, backups, and baseline performance Operations & Incident Management: Monitor systems and proactively detect issues, Handle 2nd/3rd level incidents and root cause analysis Backup & Recovery: Operate and test backup and restore procedures Automation & Standardization: Reduce manual tasks (scripting / light IaC) Documentation & Compliance: Maintain technical documentation and audit readiness (ISO27001, ISO9001, IRAP etc.) as well as contribute to customer and internal pen-tests and audits. Work in cross-country teams and infrastructure implementation and operation projects Your profile Several years of experience in system engineering / infrastructure Strong hands-on experience in: Windows Server, Linux & Virtualization (VMWare/Proxmox preferred) Basic to solid experience with Kubernetes, MS SQL / PostgreSQL Understanding of backup, monitoring, and IT security Experience with IT Infrastructure (e.g. Blade Servers, HCI, SAN/NAS FC and iSCSI) Enterprise experience in at least one domain, e.g.: Large-scale Windows environments, Virtualization platforms, Linux or Kubernetes-based platforms Strong operations focus (stability & availability) Structured and hands-on work ethics Experience with ITSM (Incident / Change / Problem) Fluent in English Willingness for international collaboration and occasional travel (10-20%) Participation in on-call rotations National Police Clearance and additional security clearances in accordance with our customers’ requirements are required Location: Gold Coast, Australia Why us?
