Senior Engineer (Test & Instrumentation)
Currently hiring for a Senior Engineer – Test and Instrumentation for a client who is a rapidly growing aerospace firm with an advanced portfolio of aircraft technologies that meet both commercial and military technology needs. The ideal candidate will be able to take ownership of the engineering test facilities to build, maintain, and operate the many development (and later certification) tests required to build an eVTOL aircraft successfully

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop backbone methodologies, equipment, and working principles of the facility
  • Lead overall test development, including test coverage, maintenance, and safety
  • Influence the test strategy and own the growth of the test organization
  • Perform integration, assembly, and testing of hardware
  • Operate test equipment and lead troubleshooting efforts
  • Create first principles, systems-focused, and lead troubleshooting efforts
  • Be an integral part of the team, project positive behaviors, and influence on the team
  • Will require you to be hands-on, where the expectation is for you to assist or lead the build of rigs and facilities.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of engineering experience (Systems Engineering, Test & Instrumentation, or similar) in an aerospace or automotive environment
  • Demonstrated experience (5 years) in a systems engineering role in aerospace or automotive, having worked across all lifecycle phases.
  • Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with systems development or testing, and have familiarity with eVTOL Certification regulations
  • Familiar with certification regulations from the TCCA, FAA, and EASA.
  • You must have experience working within ARP4754, ARP4761 and other relevant standards
