This role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Please do not apply unless you currently hold this clearance. This is a mid-career Systems Engineer (SE2) position supporting NiFi dataflow integration in Fort Meade.
Coda Solutions Corporation is seeking a mid-career Systems Engineer to support a mission-focused program in the Fort Meade area. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph —please apply only if you currently hold this clearance.
In this role, you’ll contribute to the development, integration, and troubleshooting of enterprise data flow solutions using Apache NiFi, while also supporting broader systems engineering functions across requirements analysis, design, and documentation. This is an on-site position working closely with customer and contractor teams on high-impact mission systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot NiFi dataflows to support mission operations
  • Manage system requirements, architecture, and interface documentation
  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and technical working groups
  • Contribute to system integration planning and execution
  • Assist with risk management, feasibility studies, and technical trade-offs
  • Engage daily with government customers and engineering teammates

Required Qualifications

  • 14+ years of systems engineering experience (5 years may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience with NiFi installation, flow design, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Rancher) and distributed storage (Ceph)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior SETA or mission support experience
  • Knowledge of DoDAF, SOA, and system lifecycle documentation standards
  • Experience with large-scale system integration and verification

Compensation
$150,000 – $175,000 annually, based on experience and cleared role alignment. Final offer depends on candidate qualifications and position fit.
