REQUIREMENTS
What we are looking for
Must have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar background
- >5 years working experience in design & development mechatronic devices
- Experience with development of actuated (dynamic, moving) systems
Nice to have:
- Experience with the design of medical devices
- Experience in preparing devices for series-production.
- Experience with collaborating and managing external suppliers
- Experience in detailed design, using CAD software
- Experience in prototyping software (e.g. Python, Arduino)
Responsibilities:
- Being owner of one or more sub-systems, defining and implementing design improvements
- Defining and execution of verifications at sub-system level and system level
- Supervising mechanical and assembly engineers
- Collaborating with suppliers for outsourced components and sub-systems
- Guarding requirements making sure the device complies with all relevant standards
- Troubleshooting issues both at sub-system and system leve
