Elbit Systems is an international high technology company engaged in a wide range of programs throughout the worldWe develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land and naval systems and products primarily for defense, homeland security and commercial applications We are looking for Systems Engineering Group Managers in the High-Power Laser Systems Directorate The position involves managing a group of experienced engineers, driving innovation in laser-based defense technologies and ensuring excellence in system development Responsibilities Managing, Guiding and retaining of a professional group of 20–30 systems engineersProfessional mentoring of group membersServing as a technical expert in the High-Power Laser systems domainLeading concept development, system architecture, and technological innovationOptimal resource allocation and workload balancing across work packagesLeading cost estimation processes for system engineering activitiesMonitoring and controlling group tasks and deliverablesImplementing methodologies and development procedures Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, or PhysicsAt least 7–8 years of experience in full development cycles of complex, multi-disciplinary systems on military platformsProven experience in direct management of engineersAbility to work in a multi-tasking environment with flexibility and adaptabilityExperience in goal-oriented work plans (schedule and budget)Systemic vision and System understandingBackground in Electro-Optics – advantageBackground in military/aerospace industry – advantageExperience working with domestic and international customers – advantage
