Description

KTS develops complex, cutting-edge aircraft avionics hardware and software solutions supporting digital interoperability, survivability, situational awareness, and data collection. KTS is seeking a systems engineer to manage part of the systems engineering team which is responsible for the development of requirements, design, integration and test of KTS products. This is a full-time position at the KTS facility in Des Plaines, IL. Responsibilities: Provide technical oversight, mentoring and training to a team of five to ten Systems engineers. Operate as a subject matter expert working with external customers to define systems requirements Manage development of products from design through test to verify compliance against requirements Staff projects including defining and prioritizing tasks. Provide workload forecasting and progress reports to ensure timely program execution. Responsibilities
