Systems Engineering Manager (m/f/d)
As part of the Satellite Systems Engineering Department, the System Engineering team aims at providing services to ensure the technical coordination of the project.

Your Tasks

  • Perform analyses of satellite functional and interface requirements
  • Coordinate spacecraft validation and verification on system level
  • Ensure compliance to the satellite technical requirements
  • Work in collaboration with Architects and Subsystem engineers
  • Technical system budgets (electrical power, propellant, telemetry, command, pointing, mass properties)
  • Define the satellite configuration and manage the satellite internal and external interfaces (e.g. launcher interfaces)
  • Flow down of the satellite requirements to subsystem level specifications
  • Support the generation the AIT plans and operation plans
  • Supervise preparation of satellite tests and review of test results
  • Define Test Specifications for System Level Tests and Verification
  • Responsible for maintenance of spacecraft data bases and simulators
  • Preparation for launch and flight phases, preparation of launcher interfaces and for operations data
  • Contribute to the project risk management for risks of technical nature

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering, physics or equivalent
  • Professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in phases B/C/D
  • Experience in technical negotiations with the customer
  • Self-managed and pro-active working style
  • Ability to work with and implement processes
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Working level proficiency in written and spoken English. German and other language skills advantageous
