REMOTE SYSTEM ENGINEERING MANAGER AT SECURITY FINANCE

Security Finance, a leader in the financial services industry since 1955, is seeking a Remote System Engineering Manager. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT professional who can balance remote work with occasional in-office days in the Spartanburg/Greenville, SC area.

As the System Engineering Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing the company’s interconnected systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Team Leadership: Hands-on management- developing, directing, training, and managing department personnel, including contractors.
  • Policy & Procedure Development: Creating and maintaining formal policies and procedures for interconnected systems, ensuring alignment with the company’s IS security program.
  • System Management: Assessing, evaluating, testing, and forecasting hardware and software requirements for both physical and virtual platforms across all company locations (US and international).
  • Procurement: Establishing and maintaining processes for acquiring hardware, software, and services.
  • Technical Support Oversight: Overseeing and providing second-level technical support in coordination with the Help Desk.
  • Documentation: Establishing and maintaining comprehensive computing infrastructure documentation.
  • Security & Compliance: Maintaining, reviewing, and documenting systems security audit information, staying current with new security protocols and certifications.
