REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Mathematics or Physics.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with system integration and testing.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio)

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in DOORS.
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
  • AGILE development experience.
  • Good verbal and written technical communication skills.
  • Able to work under general supervision to set objectives.

Responsibilities
  • This role supports the two main areas of Systems Engineering: System Architecture/Design and Integration and Test (I&T).
  • The role supports the technical success of the product, from an overall systems engineering perspective, working on all aspects of the full systems life cycle development process (the big V).
  • Lead the development of technical documentation in support of engineering solutions that include, but are not limited to, architectural drawings, detailed design specifications, implementation instructions, test procedures, and test reports.
  • Lead small teams to complete tasks on time and on budget.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in engineering system development tasks, including system requirements analysis, system architecture and design, preliminary design, critical design, system integration, formal verification, formal validation, and fielding support.
  • Assist in the performance of requirements analysis using DOORS, UML, Model-Based Systems Engineering (SysML), and other system engineering practices.
  • Contribute to the completion of milestones and subsequent gate reviews.
  • Assist in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost and risk analyses for total systems.
  • Maintain standards compliance.
