About the role The Systems & Improvement Lead plays a key role in ensuring operational efficiency across UGL Services by supporting, enhancing, and deploying digital and business systems. The role gathers stakeholder requirements, documents processes, manages system rollout projects, and provides ongoing support to operational teams. It contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that enable safer, better, faster, and more efficient ways of working across contracts. This position will be based at our North Sydney office. Key responsibilities Gather, analyse, and translate stakeholder requirements into actionable system or process designs. Document business processes and system workflows using clear process maps. Maintain accurate and current documentation for operational systems. Project manage the rollout of digital systems, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment,and handover to operations. Work collaboratively with IT, Operations, and program stakeholders to ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines and budget constraints. Support change management activities, including communications, training, and adoption planning. Provide user support, troubleshooting, and system guidance to operational teams. Coordinate updates, enhancements, and configuration changes in line with business needs. Monitor system performance and proactively identify improvement opportunities. Identify and document improvement opportunities across systems, workflows, and operational processes. Support teams in applying improved ways of working that deliver measurable operational value. Contribute to national or contract-level improvement initiatives as required. Lead or support system related components of new contract mobilisations, ensuring readiness of digital tools, data, and processes. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transition into operations. About You Minimum 5 years in a systems, process improvement, or similar role Experience within construction, utilities, services, or project‑based environments Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Visio. Experience with SAP, SAP Field Service Management (FSM), and Cognito Forms (desirable).
