Description

* * Maintaining and supporting the Goldman Sachs global network infrastructure. Troubleshooting, resolving incidents, providing RCA and recommendation to clients Engage and work with multiple carriers and hardware vendors. Execute break fix changes to remediate hardware failure to normalize the environment Complete ownership of remediation/Mitigation of Sev1, Sev2 and Critical Sev3 incidents and client escalations. Diagnose and resolve network issues, including hardware failures, configuration errors, and connectivity problems. Implement break-fix solutions to minimize downtime and impact to the environment. Provide technical guidance and mentor junior or new team members on processes. Experience managing network equipment from leading vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Broadcom, Citrix, Palo Alto, and Zscaler (or similar). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in ITIL framework. Experience working in the finance industry and an enterprise network. Experience automating Network functions is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain and support the Goldman Sachs global network infrastructure while troubleshooting and resolving incidents. Take complete ownership of remediation and mitigation of critical incidents and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
