Description
Design, develop, and implement Camunda BPM workflows (BPMN, DMN, CMMN) aligned with business needs. Integrate Camunda processes with Java-based microservices, REST APIs, databases, and Kafka for event-driven workflows. Collaborate with business and product teams to translate requirements into workflow logic and automation rules. Build custom connectors and external task handlers using Java and Spring Boot. Partner with DevOps to deploy, monitor, and optimize workflow engines in QA and production environments. Participate in all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives). Support QA testing, defect resolution, and release sign-off activities. Ensure adherence to compliance and security standards applicable to financial systems. 4-8 years of overall IT experience, with minimum 2+ years in Camunda BPM development (v7 or v8). Hands-on expertise in Java / Spring Boot, RESTful services, and Kafka-based messaging. Strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0, DMN, and CMMN modeling standards. Experience integrating workflows with databases (SQL/NoSQL) / POSTGRE and other enterprise systems. Familiarity with Camunda Modeler, Operate, Tasklist, and Optimize tools. Exposure to Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence. Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes preferred). Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills. Experience in financial services, banking, or payments applications. Knowledge of Camunda 8 (Zeebe) and event-driven orchestration. Exposure to cloud deployments (AWS / Azure). Awareness of data security and compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, encryption, data privacy). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Camunda BPM certification or equivalent is an added advantage.
